Missing elderly man found dead near Tekoa

A Coeur d’Alene Tribe elder missing since early April was found dead Thursday in a forested area a few miles north of Tekoa, Washington, off of Stateline Road. Acting on a tip, tribal police responded to the site and found the body of Noel Edward Campbell, 80. Campbell, who had diabetes and was partially blind, last was seen at the Gateway Café in Plummer around April 2 and was reported missing April 16. A memorial service is planned for Sunday and Monday at the Evan Abraham Longhouse in DeSmet, Idaho.
