New evacuations in Ferry County

The Ferry County Sheriff’s Office has ordered new Level 3 evacuations for several areas near Highway 395 north of Kettle Falls due to the Renner Fire. The areas that should evacuate are Carson Road, Pool Road, Murphy Road, Harter Way and BJ Place. A Level 3 evacuation means people should leave immediately. Roosevelt Road, River Edge Road and Nancy Creek Road are under a Level 2 evacuation notice, which means that residents should be packed and ready to go. Red Cross shelters are open at the Grace Evangelical Church at 851 S. Miner Street in Colville and the Republic High School at 30306 Highway 20 East.
