Obituary: Burghard, Linda Kay
Age 70
She was born on December 15th, 1944 to Harvey and Ulla Haase in Ritzville, WA.
She was preceded in death by both parents and her brother Steve Dunsmoor.
Linda was a caregiver for Shirley Libsack for several years and also managed a Sears outlet store combined with Lyndies Ceramics.
She enjoyed creating pieces and helping others.
After closing Lyndies Ceramics she worked as City Clerk/Treasurer for the city of Odessa until she retired in December 2013.
She enjoyed scrap booking and was an avid reader.
She enjoyed family and most of all her grandson Riley who was the light of her life.
Linda is survived by her son Chad Burghard, daughter-in-law Debbie, and grandson Riley Burghard, all of whom reside in Spokane Valley, WA.
Linda is also survived by sister Judy Burghard, “favorite” brother-in-law Jerry Burghard, of Odessa, WA; nephew Mike Burghard, Kim and Tyler, of Newman Lake, WA; brothers Tim Haase of Spokane, WA, and Jack Dunsmoor of Rosamond, CA.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 2nd, 2015 at 12:30pm at Riverside Memorial Park located at 508 N. Government Way, Spokane, WA 99224; reception to immediately follow on location.
