Feedback

“Night Patrol,” an oil painting of an bull elephant by wildlife artist Linda Besse. (File)

We received numerous responses last week to a Facebook question asking for favorite Inland Northwest artists and could only fit so many in our Feedback column. We thought that was well worth another column.

Heather Smith

Aaron Johnson, plein air oil and watercolor in Moscow, Idaho.

William Whitesel

Marie Whitesel (1916-2012), my mother, is my favorite artist. A realistic painter in oils and watercolor. Her trees were the highlights of her work. I am lucky to have several of her works.

JoJo K Nihili

Larry Ellingson - so much fun and fascinatingly beautiful.

Kris Stewart Clifford

I like the divinely quirky work of Robin Dare…like a glimpse of a gifted alien’s mind!

Jackie Meckel

Karen Rohn not only does her art work stand out but she does a lot of historical pieces.

Alex Marie Smith

Melissa Cole. Painting, sculpture, mixed media.

Elizabeth Ingalls Caldwell

Stan Miller, because everything he does is beautiful and I think he does an open house once a year still.

Jessica Rising

Heatherann Franz. She paints on a lot of different mediums, like mirrors and mattresses. She’s also a great piercer at Missing Piece Tattoo by Mootsy’s downtown. You can see some of her work at both locations.
