House fire in north Spokane injures one

A house fire early Monday morning injured one person at a north Spokane home. Firefighters responded just after 4 a.m. and found a mattress on fire at a home near the intersection of North Wall Street and West Carlisle Avenue, Assistant Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer said. One person had second or third degree burns from the fire, Schaeffer said.
