Obituary: Cowee, Gladys Mae
Age 95
She was born on May 10, 1920 in Valley, Washington.
Gladys graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1938 and Moler Beauty School in 1939.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Cowee and son, Rodney.
She is survived by sons Gary Cowee (Donna) of Cusick, WA and Daniel Cowee (Winifred) of Neavitt, MD; daughter-in-law Judy of Milton-Freewater, OR; seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Gladys was active in the garden club, Cub Scouts and worked in retail sales (women’s fashion) most of her life.
She enjoyed the outdoors and being with her grandchildren.
She will be missed by all.
A private family memorial was celebrated.
Inurnment will be at Spring Canyon Cemetery at Coulee Dam, WA at a later date.
