Mind over matter

Mindful eating is eating with intention and attention. Learn more about it during a free introduction Tuesday night.

The approach focuses on balance, moderation and variety to break the eat-repent-repeat cycle and change one’s relationship with food.

The meeting runs from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Ben Burr Building, 5915 S. Regal St. It precedes an eight-week series of workshops which run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 8 to April 26. Those classes cost $300 and include two books. (Bring a friend and get $20 off.)
