Women’s golf: Gonzaga’s Bianca Pagdanganan struggles at NCAA regional
EUGENE – Gonzaga freshman Bianca Pagdanganan struggled during the second round of Saturday’s NCAA women’s golf regional at Eugene Country Club, shooting a 9-over-par 81 to slip 40 places.
Pagdanganan completed two rounds at 13-over 157, tied for 125th place in the 132-player field.
Miami’s Dewi Weber shot a 6-under 66 to improve to 9-under 135, one shot ahead of Tennessee’s Anna Newell.
Pac-12 teams are dominating the event. Southern California (569) leads the way ahead of Washington (574), UCLA (577) and Stanford (578).
