3. Too Slim and the Taildraggers 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Spokane Community College, 1810 N. Greene St. Performing a free concert in support of their new album, “Blood Moon,” which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard blues charts. Too Slim is a master at slide guitar while drummer Jeff “Shakey” Fowlkes previously drummed for Kid Rock. Too Slim is a member of numerous Blues Hall of Fames and although originally from Spokane, he now calls Nashville home. 8. Battle of Deep Creek Civil War Re-enactment Saturday-Monday, open at 9 a.m. daily, Deep Creek Farms, 811 N. Deep Creek Road, Medical Lake. Visit the tents in camp, talk to the re-enactors and see how Americans lived during the Civil War. Meet Abraham Lincoln, the generals, soldiers and civilians. Special events: Saturday and Sunday, battles at 11 and 3 p.m., camp closes at 5 p.m. and Lantern Walk at 8 p.m. Monday: Battle and Memorial Day Service at 1 p.m. Lantern walks on Saturday and Sunday are guided “Ghost of our History” tours through the Federal and Confederate camps; cost is $5/person, free/age 11 and younger.
