FBI still searching for Coeur d’Alene Tribe member missing for 29 years

The FBI is offering a reward in hopes of finding an Idaho woman who disappeared 29 years ago.

Tina Finley, a Coeur d’Alene Tribe member, last was seen in North Idaho 29 years ago.

Finley went missing when she was 25 on March 8, 1988, in Plummer, likely as a result of foul play, according to an FBI news release. On the anniversary of her disappearance, the FBI’s Salt Lake City Field Office announced it is offering a cash reward of $10,000 for information that leads to her discovery.

“We think this case is solvable,” said Sandra Barker, public affairs specialist at the Salt Lake City office. “We just wanted to get it out there and let people know we’re still working on this case.”

Finney is Native American, stands 5-foot-6, weighed about 135 pounds at the time of her disappearance, has brown eyes and brown hair.

No arrests have been made in the case.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI Salt Lake City field office at (801) 579-6636.
