Key moment

Gonzaga rattled off 11 unanswered points and 15 of the game’s last 18 to pull away from the Waves in the final 7 minutes. Killian Tillie made a key 3-pointer and dished to Johnathan Williams for a dunk. Another Williams dunk and Tillie 3 gave the Zags some breathing room.

Offensive player of the game

Senior forward Johnathan Williams had a productive game on Senior Night, scoring a team-high 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting. He was on the receiving end of a couple of nice feeds that led to dunks. Williams made one 3-pointer and grabbed a pair of offensive rebounds.

Defensive player of the game

Killian Tillie limited Pepperdine’s leading scorer, Kameron Edwards to eight points. Edwards, who averages 14.4 points, made two 3-pointers but was just 1 of 7 on 2-pointers. Tillie switched onto point guard Colbey Ross in the closing minutes and forced a missed shot and swatted another.
