National Geographic Travel names Spokane a top coffee city

National Geographic Travel magazine has named Spokane one of America’s top 10 small coffee cities.

The listing can be found in its March 2018 issue under the headline “These Unexpected Cities Have the Best Coffee in the U.S.” The list features small cities, or those less than 600,000 in population, that “provide the best caffeine fix.”

Bellingham is also on the list.

The magazine partnered with Resonance Consultancy and pulled data to figure out which cities had the most coffee shops per capita for cities under 600,000 in population. Editors chose their favorites.
