Democrat Jordan: 'A message of hope' 

Not only is Paulette Jordan now the only Democrat in the Idaho Legislature from north of Boise, she’s also the only Native American member. A longtime Democratic activist and former Coeur d’Alene Tribal Council member, Jordan, D-Plummer, said, “My campaign has just been about staying positive, sticking to the truth.”

New York Times reports: "Thousands of people across the country marched, shut down highways, burned effigies and shouted angry slogans on Wednesday night to protest the election of Donald J.
