Taste of Asia and Filipino-American Friendship Festival
A celebration of culture, heritage and international friendship. Features food trucks, beer, vendors, performances, karaoke, raffles, cooking demos, cultural exhibits, cultural booths and CHAS Health Mobile Clinic. Noon-12:30 p.m., Sister Cities Garden (by the Central Pavillion in the park). — The Spokane–Jilin Sister City Bench Commemoration, honoring the enduring sister city relationship between Spokane and Jilin, China. — The Philippine American Friendship Proclamation, recognizing the vibrant contributions of the Filipino American community and celebrating the strong bonds between the United States and the Philippines.
