July 21-22. The Pacific Northwest’s largest outdoor powwow. The two-day cultural celebration will bring scores of vendors, including food and beverage, arts and crafts and memorabilia. Fairgrounds facilities include 83 acres of camping, a spacious arena, staging areas and plenty of facilities for horses. As many as 800 dancers and 60 drum groups have taken part in Julyamsh, representing U.S. tribes and Canadian bands from across the continent. Stick Game Tourney at the Coeur d’Alene Casino on Friday, 4 and 8 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Julyamsh Horse Parade: Friday at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday at 12:30 and 6:30 p.m. Grand entry: 1 and 7 p.m. on both days.
