Book Signing The Great Northern Railway in Marias Pass
Dale Jones will host a book signing about the Great Northern Railway’s historic Marias Pass in Montana’s Rocky Mountains. This narrative follows the railroad as it snakes through narrow canyons, traverses the swift Middle Fork of the Flathead River, and twists through numerous snow sheds and tunnels to crest the 5,213-foot Continental Divide; it is complete with vintage newspaper accounts and historical photographs from local residents that provide insight into the day-by-day operations of the mountain railroad called Marias Pass.
