National Chemistry Week Kids Science Event
October 21, 2017 - October 21, 2017
To celebrate National Chemistry Week the Inland Northwest American Chemical Society and EWU’s Chemistry and Geology Departments are hosting a kid’s science event. This year’s theme is “Chemistry Rocks” which is all about geochemistry. Kids will identify a mystery rock, build lattices, test pH of water, see a liquid nitrogen water volcano and of course liquid nitrogen ice cream. The kids get a t-shirt and goodie bag full of fun activities for home (while supplies last). For K-6th grade, kids under eight must be accompanied by an adult.
