Education: Graduated from Deer Park High School in 1988. Earned bachelor’s degree in forest resource management from the University of Idaho in 1994.

Work experience: Has worked in forestry for about 30 years. Presently the forest practices district manager for Washington Department of Natural Resources since 2017. Has performed various volunteer coaching activities since 2006. Currently raising lambs to be shown and sold to kids at fairs in the area.

Political Experience: Won current Deer Park School Board seat in 2007 and has been re-elected every four years since.

Family: Married to Debby Keller and has four children, all of whom went to Deer Park School District.
