We have an opportunity to bring together labor, manufacturing and environmental groups in support of something that could truly change the trajectory of our planet. That should start with manufacturing the renewable energy equipment here in the United States.

As a 21-year “police accountability activist,” when I think I’ve heard it all on the topics of misconduct or unethical behaviors by police officers, the Spokane Police Department always finds a way to consistently raise the bar on my personal “WOW factor” that I have on these matters.

What officials fail to understand is that helping the homeless by making available shelter, food, clothing and mental health services is the fastest way to help them become productive members of the city.
