Summary

Nathan Awbery pitched a complete game, striking out nine and scattering four hits to keep University's playoff hopes alive with a 4-3 victory over Mead on Monday night.

The Titans forced a tiebreaker game against the Saxons at Ferris on Tuesday night. The winner clinches the No. 5 seed and will play fourth-seeded Mead on Wednesday night.

With it tied at 3 in the bottom of the fourth, the Titan's Ben Magruder walked and moved to third on Carson Lundmark's single. Magruder then scored the go-ahead run when Lundmark stole 2nd.

Justin Dolezal hit a 3-run home run in the third for the Panthers.
