Summary

LC’s Nick Nystrom led off the second inning with a double and Jermaine Ducham knocked him in with a single to put the Tigers on top of G-Prep.

Bo McGinn singled in the bottom of the third off Camden Bendickson, which started a huge inning for G-Prep. The inning included three hit batters, a single, a bases-loaded walk and a balk.

By the end of the inning, the Bullpups led 6-1, which is how the game ended.

“Connor (Coballes) got stronger against us tonight,” Tigers coach Steve Bennett said. “He didn’t give us anything for free. He was tough.”

Munhall said he told Coballes to throw strikes.

“I thought we were outstanding on the mound the entire game,” he said. “And the guys behind him had his back.”
