What happened: It was senior day for the Panthers as the offense was spread all the way around giving Mead (14-1, 8-1) the victory over Ferris (8-5, 4-5) to take crown of the Greater Spokane League and in 4A play.

Senior Julia Adair knocked in the winning goal in the final minutes as University overcame a deficit in the second half to pick up a Greater Spokane League girls soccer victory over visiting Ferris on Wednesday night. Piper Lawson scored the equalizer in the opening minutes of the first half for the Titans, who searched for the winning goal for approximately 35 minutes before Adair found the back of the net.
