Washington State survived in double overtime Saturday, using a final interception to defeat Oregon 45-38 in Pac-12 play.

The matchup to watch on Saturday will be between WSU’s potentially explosive offense and the currently maligned Oregon defense.

Oregon does not have a prototype running back, although the current one is the prototype.

Everyone thinks they know Oregon. The Ducks haven’t exactly been secretive during their decade-long run as the Pac-12’s prestige program, at least not relative to their peers during college football’s Age of Paranoia.

The Washington State defense is on pace to nearly triple the number of takeaways it forced last season, and that's not all.
