In the mood for a little Celtic cheer this Christmas season?
Then you don't want to miss Friday's Celtic Yuletide Concert featuring the family folk combo Magical Strings.
For 17 years, the Seattle combo has produced its spectacular family Celtic Yuletide Concert before thousands of people in Seattle, where it's an institution. The show typically includes performances by Magical Strings, pipers, Celtic harpists and other musicians.
Magical Strings was the conception of the husband-and-wife team of Phillip and Pam Boulding, who began shaping the group over a decade ago. But what makes this group special is that it is almost entirely comprised of family members. The Boulding's children - Morgan, Marshall, Brittany, Geoffrey and Brenin - all play instruments in the band.
