Three people die in head-on crash on highway ramp

Three people were killed early Thursday when a vehicle driving the wrong way on the eastbound on-ramp of U.S. Highway 2 onto Interstate 90 collided with another car. The ramp was closed for at least three hours after the 2:11 a.m. accident, the Washington State Patrol said.

Montana teens killed in I-90 crash

A 16-year-old Great Falls girl killed in a double-fatal accident in Post Falls was on her way to Seattle for medical care in advance of a kidney transplant. Destiney S. Moore was traveling Tuesday with her mother, her 17-year-old boyfriend and another child when the vehicle that the mother was driving crossed the median of Interstate 90 in Post Falls and struck three other vehicles. Moore died at the scene.

Snowy roads vex drivers

Slushy snow and rain turned to ice Tuesday night, contributing to dozens of collisions across the region. But it wasn’t known if weather was a factor in a four-car crash on Interstate 90 that killed a teenage passenger and injured several others. The eastbound lanes of the freeway near Post Falls were closed for several hours while the Idaho State Police investigated the crash, KHQ.com reported.
