COEUR D’ALENE POLICE

Norman Reinicke, Coeur d’Alene, reported Monday the theft from the back of his truck of a tool box containing socket sets, wrenches, screwdrivers and other tools valued at $1,500. The truck was parked in the 400 block of S. 19th St.

Karl Kuntz, Coeur d’Alene, reported Monday the theft of a compact disk player, amplifier, 70 compact disks, speakers and a disk carrier valued at $1,340 from his unlocked truck. The truck was parked in the 5800 block of Silver Pine Court.

KOOTENAI COUNTY SHERIFF

Shane Anderson, Hayden Lake, reported

Monday the theft from his boat of water-skis, wetsuits and ski and stereo equipment valued at $4,070. His boat was parked at his home in the 9500 block of Maple.

Ray Bolon, Hayden Lake, reported Monday the theft from his shop of a chainsaw, routers, compressors and other tools valued at $6,050. The shop is located at his home in the 9300 block of Maple.

Michelle Smidt, Coeur d’Alene, reported Monday the theft from her car of a stereo, compact disks, sunglasses, radar detector, endorsed checks, cash and wallet, valued at $2,945 in total. The car was parked at the Mica Boater’s Park.

Shauntal Baker, Post Falls, reported Monday the theft from her car of her purse, cash, medical box and cellular phone valued at $1,296. The car was parked near the Centennial Trail at West Riverview in Post Falls.

Fred Gabourie, Post Falls, reported Tuesday the theft from the Fighting Creek Store of 40 custom-designed t-shirts, 40 hats and a case of pre-mixed cocktails valued at $1,150.
