4th ‘Bama Football Arrest

Alabama wide receiver Rondi Gibson, charged with drunken driving, is the fourth Crimson Tide player to be arrested since last season.

Gibson, 22, practiced Wednesday during spring drills.

Gibson, a senior, was arrested Saturday morning by Tuscaloosa police.

Earlier this spring, tight end Patrick Hape was arrested on a DUI charge. Teammate Matt Parker, who was with Hape at the time, was charged with interfering with a government official.

In February, tailback Dennis Riddle was arrested and charged with breaking into a car.
