Mcneeley Under Fire

Peter McNeeley slapped a freelance photographer a day before his heavyweight fight with Mike Tyson, the television show “Hard Copy” says.

Gary Rosen, a spokesman for the show, said the incident will be shown on the program tonight.

“Hard Copy” identified the photographer as J.D. Ligier, 25, of Los Angeles and said the incident occurred in the lobby of the MGM Grand Hotel between 5 and 6 p.m. on Friday.

According to “Hard Copy,” Ligier’s face appeared to be bruised, red and swollen.
