Gunman Robs Pizza Business

From Staff And Wire Reports

A gunman robbed the Domino’s Pizza store here early Saturday and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash and checks.

A Domino’s worker was closing the Pine Street store about 1:35 a.m. A man showed up brandishing a gun and wearing a ski mask and dark glasses. The man demanded the night’s receipts and apparently left on foot.

Authorities said the robber may have been hiding somewhere inside the store, waiting until closing time to confront the worker.

The man was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds. Authorities have no suspects in the case and said anyone with information about the robbery can call 263-3158.
