Creole Specialty A Favorite At Brewpub

The taste is dark, dusky, spicy and almost smoky - an aromatic medley of hot sausage, chicken, vegetables and rice.

This Creole specialty, Jambalaya, doesn’t pop up very often at local restaurants, but you’ll find a nice version at Birkebeiner Brewing Co., where it’s one of the brewpub’s most popular dishes.

*Price: $5.95, lunch or dinner, served with a slice of local sourdough bread. Recommended optional extra: pale ale.

*Availability: Birkebeiner Brewing Co., W35 Main, Spokane.
