Newman Is Wise In Win

Paul Newman, 70 years old and taking his race-car driving most seriously, helped his Roush Racing teammates finish third overall and win the GTS-1 division of the Rolex 24-Hour sports car endurance race.

The car was sponsored by Newman’s latest movie, “Nobody’s Fool,” a birthday gift to the two-time Oscar winner from Paramount Pictures.

Asked how this race compared with other successes in his life, Newman, said: “The best there is yet. But there’s stuff down the road, good stuff, maybe football.”
