White Star Mail Service Launched

From Staff And Wire Reports

People in a hurry to send their letters and bills will benefit from 10 “white star mailboxes” scattered around town.

The new star decals on their sides indicate those boxes will be emptied between 1 and 2 p.m., which is earlier than normal. The mail will also be collected twice each day, according to Coeur d’Alene Postmaster Ron Carroll.

The boxes are located along Fourth Street at the intersections of Sherman, Lakeside and Harrison; at Second and Sherman; 400 Northwest Boulevard, 610 W. Hubbard, 101 Best, 225 W. Appleway, 700 Ironwood and 1201 Ironwood.
