A record $600 million in commercial time has been sold for NBC’s telecast of the Olympic Games in Atlanta, more than a year in advance of the event, the network said.

The University of Louisville has concluded an internal investigation into its basketball program, coach Denny Crum said.

“To my knowledge, there have not been any violations of NCAA rules in this program,” Crum told WHAS-TV.

WLKY-TV reported that the probe centered on allegations raised by Jimmy Thompson, a former volunteer strength coach for the basketball team.

Crum said results of the school’s probe have been turned over to the NCAA.

Kath Hetherington was named president of Britain’s Rugby Football League, becoming the first woman elected to that post.
