UI Tennis Player Moves Up

University of Idaho sophomore Danny Willman advanced to the third round of the Rolex Region 7 Intercollegiate Tennis championships on Thursday.

Willman, a transfer from San Jacinto Junior College, won his first- and second-round matches in straight sets.

Keith Bradbury and Chris Daniel advanced to the second round of the doubles competition with a wild, 6-7, 6-2, 6-1 win over Rogolio Puente and Andy Sanchez of Texas-El Paso.
