School Crowding Topic Of Meetings
School trustees in Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls will hear updates on their overcrowded schools at tonight’s school board meetings.
In Coeur d’Alene, in addition to a report on crowded elementary schools, the school board will discuss high school graduation dates, early graduation requests and a request from a non-resident to enroll.
In Post Falls, assistant superintendent Jerry Keane will provide information on some short-term and long-term solutions to the district’s space problems.
The board also will consider drugtesting of employees, bids for three new school buses and discuss a proposed land exchange between the school district and the city.
The Post Falls school board meetings at 7 p.m. Monday in the high school cafeteria.
The Coeur d’Alene school board meets at 7 p.m. in the school district headquarters at 311 N. 10th St.
