Jury Examines Testimony

Compiled From Wire Services

The jury deciding whether boxing promoter Don King committed insurance fraud reheard testimony in which an accountant accused his former boss of directing him to make up a business expense.

The reading of Joseph Maffia’s testimony and some from other witnesses in the six-week trial kept the jury busy for a third day without a verdict as it considered nine wire fraud charges against the flamboyant promoter who controls some of boxing’s biggest names.
