School Administrators Hoping For Pay Raises
Coeur d’Alene school administrators are hoping to get their raises approved at Monday’s school board meeting.
Superintendent Doug Cresswell said the administration is recommending an average 3.2 percent increase in salaries for the administrative staff.
The increase on the base of the salary schedule would be 2.6 percent.
The percentage increase is the same as that awarded to teachers and classified personnel.
Cresswell now makes $76,670 per year and assistant superintendent Dave Teater makes $68,271.
Also on the agenda is a preview of the schedule for student testing. This year all students from grades 3 through 11 will take the Iowa Test of Basic Skills.
The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the school district headquarters, 311 N. 10th St. in Coeur d’Alene.
