Rockies Make Changes

Compiled From Wire Services

Kevin Ritz, who led the Colorado Rockies with 11 victories in 1995, will remain with the National League baseball team after it picked up the option on his contract for the 1996 season.

Also, the Rockies refused to pick up the option on pitcher Joe Grahe and released pitcher Bryan Hickerson and catcher Matt Nokes.

Left-hander Butch Henry, who underwent major surgery on his pitching elbow in August, was claimed on waivers by the Boston Red Sox from Montreal.

Bill Buhler, a trainer for the Los Angeles Dodgers for 39 years and more than 7,200 games, announced his retirement.
