Colleges Hope U Notice Their New Football Logo

College football has its own logo.

The new U-shaped logo, which includes a football and the slogan “College Football USA,” is part of an effort to market the sport on a national basis. It’s modeled after the programs used by the NBA, NFL, NHL and Major League Baseball.

“It’s great to have a unifying logo that can draw all of us together in college football,” said UCLA coach Terry Donahue. “That’s one of the things we’ve needed for many, many years.”
