Ex-Flyer Has Leukemia

Yanick Dupre, a forward in the Philadelphia Flyers organization, has been diagnosed with leukemia and will return to his home in Montreal for treatment.

Dupre, 24, played in 12 games for the Flyers this season and scored two goals, including his first in the NHL, against San Jose in January.

He played in 52 games this season for the team’s AHL affiliate at Hershey, scoring 20 goals and 36 assists.
