Starbird Lifts Stanford Past Stephen F. Austin

Kate Starbird scored 27 points and Vanessa Nygaard added 20 points and 12 rebounds as top-ranked Stanford beat No. 24 Stephen F. Austin 85-62 Saturday night in the semifinals of the Hawaiian Airlines Wahine Basketball Classic.

The Cardinal advanced to today’s title game against Michigan, which beat Hawaii 75-63.
