Madonna Chats With Oprah

The Material Girl will give her first television interview since becoming a mother on Oct. 21 to Oprah Winfrey for airing on Friday.

The chat on “Oprah,” to be taped before an audience in Los Angeles earlier in the week, will mark Madonna’s first hour-long television interview.

“This will be the first time I’ve met Madonna and I am very excited,” Winfrey said in a statement. “There’s so much I want to talk to her about.”

Madonna, of course, is out to promote her new film, “Evita.”

She is also expected to turn up on pal Rosie O’Donnell’s daytime gabber on or around Jan. 9, according to a spokeswoman for that program.
