Kathryn Nary Sandpoint
Memorial service for Kathryn Elizabeth Nary, 73, will be held today at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Sandpoint. Coffelt Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Nary, who was born in Chicago, died Wednesday.
She grew up and graduated from high school in Long Island, N.Y. She went on to work in New York City as a secretary and then for the federal Post Office.
She later moved to Maryland and worked as a secretary in the public school system before retiring and moving to Sandpoint in 1978.
Mrs. Nary was a member and treasurer of the First Presbyterian Church, a member of the Sandpoint P.E.O. and was a former volunteer at the Festival at Sandpoint.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Neahry of Seattle and Leslie Nary of New Hampshire; and two brothers, George Palmer of Florida and William Palmer of New York.
Memorials may be made to the Blue Haven Shelter in Sandpoint.
Charles “Ben” Fuson Post Falls
Memorial service for Charles “Ben” Fuson, 76, was held Saturday at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls.
Mr. Fuson, who was born in South Dakota, died Thursday.
He moved to Post Falls in 1947 from the Silver Valley and worked for Kaiser Aluminum, retiring in 1973.
Mr. Fuson was a member of the Eagles Lodge No. 3682, the American Legion and Good Sams Club of Post Falls and served as a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program for the Post Falls Seniors.
Survivors include his wife, Dorsay; two sons, Larry Fuson of Post Falls and Randy Fuson of New Jersey; a daughter, Rita Fuson of Post Falls, sister, Olive Brown of South Dakota; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
