Julie Gledhill scored 19 points and added seven assists as Arizona State upset Washington 81-77 to snap an 18-game Pacific-10 Conference losing streak Saturday night in Seattle.
The Sun Devils (5-13, 1-8 Pac-10) had not beaten a league opponent since they recorded a 79-77 victory over Oregon on Jan. 28, 1995.
Washington (12-8, 6-3) was led by Laura Savasta, who scored 18 points before fouling out with 2:59 left in the game.
Arizona State outscored Washington 21-10 over the final 5 minutes after trailing by as much as 10 points in the second half. Molly Tuter’s basket with 1:29 remaining gave Arizona State the lead for good and capped a 9-0 run.

The Lady Griz jumped out to a 44-19 lead at the half and coasted to a Big Sky Conference win over the Eagles in Cheney.
EWU shot a dismal 27 percent from the field in the first half (6 for 22), while Montana was scoring at a 53-percent clip (18 for 34).
Eastern’s Tina Smith led all scorers with 15 points. She also grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
