Signs Point To Giants For Dunston

Although Shawon Dunston denied that he has agreed to a one-year contract with the Giants, all indications point to the former Chicago Cubs shortstop signing a deal on Monday.

A source with the Giants said Dunston will be at a news conference Monday to officially announce the signing.

Dunston said he is considering offers from the Giants and two other teams one in the National League and one in the American League. Those teams, however, want him to play either left field or third base.
