Popular Campground Closed For Remodeling

Washington Creek Campground, a popular campground in the North Fork District of the Clearwater National Forest, will be closed this weekend and July 25 through July 28.

The campground is closed for reconstruction, including resurfacing of the access road and parking area, replacing toilets and installing a new water system.

Members of the Clearwater Resource Coalition, a group of local timber industry representatives, have volunteered to complete a portion of the reconstruction scheduled for the campground over the next two years.
