Can You Can?

I think I can, I think I can … oh, let’s face it. You can’t can.

But thanks to Kraft’s Fresh Blends, you can make tasty, low-sugar spreads from fresh or frozen fruits without bothering with packages of pectin or boiling-water baths or the rest of the complicated canning process.

Just mix the Fresh Blends with boiling water, pour it over fruit in a blender, pulse briefly, pour into plastic containers and wait until it sets. Your spread will keep refrigerated for three weeks, or frozen for up to a year.

And when your friends taste it, they’ll think you canned.

Price: Around $1.89 for 9.3 ounces (makes three 1-cup containers).

Available: Most supermarkets.
