Montana At Idaho

Tipoff: Idaho (10-15, 4-9 Big Sky) closes the regular season against Montana (20-6, 10-3) at 7:05 in the Kibbie Dome.

At a glance: Montana is in the hunt for the conference title and hosting rights to next week’s tournament. Idaho, meanwhile, can qualify for the tourney through the back door if Northern Arizona loses to Weber State, but UI wants to decide its own destiny by upsetting Montana. A UI loss and NAU win results in a Saturday coin flip.

On the periphery is the ambiguous future of Idaho coach Joe Cravens, who hasn’t been told by his superiors whether he’ll return or not. “I’m going to give Coach Cravens a 110 percent,” guard Reggie Rose said. “He recruited me. I respect him and he respects me.”

Key players: Idaho - Rose, 13.9 ppg, 3.0 apg; Harry Harrison, 10 rpg. Montana - Shawn Samuelson, 16.3 ppg, 7.3 rpg; Shane Belnap, 6.8 apg.

Radio: KPRL (1400 AM Moscow), KVNI (1080 AM Coeur d’Alene) with Tom Morris.
