Fbi Planes Circle Over Freemen Trailer

Two FBI surveillance planes took turns Monday repeatedly circling low over a 22-foot camper trailer the encircled freemen are now using as a sentry base on a ridge overlooking their compound.

Two freemen appeared relaxed as they sat in lawn chairs or paced around the trailer. A grill for cooking was spotted Sunday night after freemen towed the trailer to the ridge where the group’s sentries in a van have kept watch since the standoff began March 25.

It was not immediately clear whether the freemen simply wanted to make the sentries more comfortable or whether the move signaled plans to station more sentries on the hill.

FBI planes buzzed overhead almost constantly Monday; in the past, the FBI would only occasionally fly above the compound.
