Kellogg Schools Levy Election Today

To help pay for basic operating expenses, the Kellogg School District is asking voters today for an additional $842,500 in property taxes.

The supplemental levy requires a simple majority of votes to pass. It would add $34.60 per year to the taxes of someone whose property has a valuation of $50,000 after the homeowner’s exemption.

Voting will be from noon to 7 p.m. at Smelterville City Hall and at three elementary schools: Sunnyside, Pinehurst and Canyon. , DataTimes
